Once the processing date is determined with our butcher, Arapahoe Meats, a USDA certified processor, we will contact you to let you know. We will haul the steers to the processor and will then get all the rest of the information you will need to proceed with the processing.
Final Payment
Once we set your date and have the hanging weight for your animal, we will contact you to set up final payment. Final beef costs, minus the deposit amount, must be paid before we can give you the ear tag number and the number provided by the processing company.
Determine your cuts of Meat
The hanging weight of your steer will be provided to you so you can calculate the processing cost, which is an additional cost paid to the processor. The standard processing fee is $0.99/LB based on hanging weight. You can go to their website and begin selecting exactly how you would like your meat cut. It’s as simple as that. The website is very user friendly and walks you through step by step. Then a date will be set for you to pick up.

Quarter beef
The quarter beef is a great value that gives you all the standard cuts like steaks, roasts, and great hamburger meat, but also offers you some of the secret cuts like flank steaks, brisket and short ribs.

Half Beef
Half beef customers enjoy the best value AND you get to customize every cut! Choose the thickness of your steaks, the size of your roasts, and the exact cuts you want.

The best way to stock up is to get the whole thing: our whole beef. We have customers who stock up every year, or they find friends and family to split it with. Customize to the best needs of your family.
